Common questions
How often should brake fluid be flushed?
About every two years or 30,000 miles for most vehicles, or whatever your manufacturer schedule says. Braking heats the fluid, which breaks it down and pulls in moisture that rusts the system from the inside. A flush drains the old fluid, clears debris, and refills with fresh fluid.
Do I need rotors every time I replace pads?
No. If the rotors are thick enough and not warped or scored, we leave them. If they are, we tell you and show you in the photos. Replacing worn pads early is cheaper than replacing pads and rotors later.
How much does a brake job cost?
It depends on the vehicle and what's worn, so we don't quote blind. We inspect first, then send a written estimate to your phone with photos. You approve it before anything happens. Call for a quote if you already know what you need.
Can I wait if they only squeak?
A squeak is the early warning. Once it turns into a grind, the pads are gone and the rotors are being damaged. Get it looked at while it's still a squeak.
